SRILANKAN AIRLINES SPURNS HOLIDAY OFFER FOR HEATHER MILLS
BY SYDNEY REYNOLDS 20-03-2008

HEATHER MILLS [formerly Lady Paul McCartney] has been snubbed by SriLankan Airlines over the suggestion that she be given a free holiday with air tickets in Sri Lanka to recover from her acrimonious High Court battle for compensation from her former husband, ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.

Miss Becky Addley, Account Director for the Airline's PR company, told me emphatically yesterday [Mon]: 'I'm sorry but we don't go in for this sort of promotion.'

Miss Mills, who has been awarded £24.3m, would have relished a holiday in the paradise Island of Sri Lanka. It is not known if Miss Mills has already been to Sri Lanka on a previous holiday.

Thus SriLankan Airlines has missed a golden opportunity of providing Miss Mills with not only a holiday of a lifetime but also a chance to recover from her matrimonial strife which nobody would wish upon themselves or anybody else.

The Airway's PR company has also missed the chance of a great deal of free publicity for which otherwise they would have had to pay.
