The STF arrested the duo who was accompanied by a group of hooligans, when they ran amok at a polling centre in Dehiattakandiya. The group was released due to the insistence of a Western Province provincial councillor who recently switched allegiance with the Government The group had arrived at the polling booth of the Bambarawana Central College in eight vehicles, and had threatened voters.
