Aitken Spence Hotels, which manages ten properties in Sri Lanka, including Heritance Kandalama and the Tea Factory, have launched an exclusive loyalty rewards program entitled \'The Diamond Club\'.

Membership of the Diamond Club is limited to those who have spent a minimum of Rs. 10,000 at an Aitken Spence Hotel, although membership can also be bought by paying Rs. 10,000. Members also receive a free username and password, which gives them access to the exclusive Diamond Club website, where they can monitor the accumulation of their points and take advantage of exclusive special offers.
Malin Hapugoda, Managing Director of Aitken Spence\'s Hotel sector, said \"the Diamond Club is our way of saying thank you to our loyal guests who have patronized our hotels over the years\".
He added that this endeavour was not only to reward the existing clientele of Aitken Spence Hotels, but to consolidate a loyal customer base as well.
Aitken Spence also own hotels in Oman, India and the Maldives, although currently Diamond Club points can only be earned at Aitken Spence hotels within Sri Lanka, he said.
