The dance was organised by the Ladies in order to raise funds for a young 22 yr. old boy by the name of Ben Thompson, from the suburb of Cranbourne Vic., who was punched in the face outside his home on June 27th, suffered intense brain damage and now left in a vegetative state. An amount of $2000 was handed over to his Mother Robyn Thompson to cover additional expenses.
