Sri Lankan Holidays’ package for kids 19-11-2008
TIRUCHI: Sri Lankan Holidays, the leisure arm of Sri Lankan Airlines, has launched a ‘Kids Go Free’ vacation tour package to the island nation from major destinations from India.
The package would offer free vacation for two kids (below the age of 12), which could be availed by a minimum of two adults accompanying them.
The kids would have to share the room with the adults for the three-day or four-day packages.
The package includes return airfare on Sri Lankan Airlines, including fuel surcharge for the adult tickets, accommodation on bed and breakfast basis, airport and internal transfers, transportation by air-conditioned vehicles and English-speaking chauffeur guide with a city tour of Colombo.
The offer, valid from November 1 to January 31, would come in four packages – ‘Holiday in Colombo,’ ‘Holiday on the Beach,’ ‘Holiday in Negombo’ and ‘Holiday in Kandy.’
The packages have been specially designed to encourage parents to bring their children along for some of the best tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, Amith Sumanapala, General Manager, Sri Lankan Holidays, said in a Press release.

Colombo stocks barely changed from morning at Wednesday’s market close, with both indices marginally up on thin turnover, analysts said.
JKH was 25 cents high to Rs 50.25 trading 48,300 shares, with Dialog also seeing a 25 cents increase to Rs 6 as was in the morning. The turnover was at Rs 46 million with the All Share Index at 1,550.07, up by just 0.6 points and Milanka up by 18.59 points to 1,672.94 at stock market close.
