Sri Lanka Terrorist Investigations Department (TID) has seized a van fitted with six claymore mines in Kurunegala yesterday. According to the TID each claymore mine is weighing 5 kilo grams. TID sources said the van was found on a tip given by a LTTE suspect who is in the custody at the moment. Additionally, the TID has recovered one T56 weapon with 340 ammunitions, 100 electric detonators, two remote controls, six grenades and one micro pistol and ammunition from the van.
