Mr. Sivajilingam who is also an independent candidate in the forthcoming presidential election spent a week in London.  Sivajilingam left London via Dubai to attend a Tamil conference in Thiruchchirappalli.  But Indian officials deported Sivajilingam transferring him on a flight back to Sri Lanka. Indian officials refused to give reason for their action, media sources said.
