Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Myanmar Newton Gunaratne said several MOUs would be signed between the two countries today. One will be between the ITN and MRTV which is the State Radio and TV of Myanmar for an exchange programme.

Under this, ITN will telecast programmes produced in Myanmar while Sri Lankan programmes will be telecast in Myanmar. Another relates to waiving of visa fees, especially for the Buddhist Monks and pilgrims visiting the two countries.
